Women’s College BBall: Bismarck State in mid-season form

In women’s college basketball, Bismarck State is off and running this season. The women are off to fantastic start at 5-1.

They only blemish coming in the championship game of the pre-season Mon-Dak conference tournament, 78-76. Since that loss, Bismarck State has won their last three games by at least 20 points. Their biggest blowout came against Presentation, in a 51-point margin of victory, that saw the Mystics crack the century mark for the first time this season.

“It gets us really full of hope,” freshman forward/center Trae Murray said. “Get us really excited for the further season games. Anytime we can get on the floor and compete we are pretty happy.”

The next game for Bismarck State is on Dec. when they take on Stone Child College, which is part of the Warren Arman Classic.
