Mandan Basketball and Football star Elijah Klein has decided that we will go to the University of North Dakota and play football.
This season, Klein had a breakout year on the gridiron. He was named all-state as a wide receiver. He also recorded 1,000 receiving yards, which was a first in Mandan school history.
Here is the 6-foot-8 rising senior on why he chose the Fighting Hawks.
“All of their coaches showed interest,” Klein said, “not just certain ones. So that was a major part of it. Also, my mom when there, my brother went there, my sister did a little bit of time there so it’s kind of family thing too.”
Elijah also said that we went on a visit Monday and made the decision that afternoon. He announced his decision today via Twitter.
