Both UMary basketball programs teamed up Monday to tip off the 2017 campaign in style.
Men and women’s hoops packed the McDowell Activity Center for Marauders Madness, which gave students and other attendees a first look at both squads.
The event included three-point contests followed by a scrimmage, and before the actual athletes hit the court, students got to partake in a lightning contest.
After tonight it’s all back to business for UMary hoops, as competitive play is just around the corner for both teams.
Men’s basketball hosts Mayville State for an exhibition Oct. 24, while the women’s team will be at Jamestown Oct. 28.
