Men’s College Basketball: Bismarck State gets ready for final non-conference tune up

National Sports

In men’s college basketball… Bismarck State College has not had the start to the season they would have hoped for.

The Mystics are off to a 4-7 start and have lost their last two contests.

On the bright side, the men do not start Mon-Dak conference play until after the new year, so all of these games are just tunes up as they prepare for the important part of their schedule. The men have a couple of areas to work on.

“A lot of man-to-man defense and just getting up and down,” sophomore guard Grant Kohuls said. “[We need] to play our game. We like to run and gun. [We need to] execute our out-of-bounds plays.”

BSC has one more non-conference game before New Year’s and that is at the Fiesta Bowl Shootout on Dec. 27.
