The Bismarck State men’s basketball team started off Mon-Dak play with a three-point win over Lake Region State.
The victory was a bit of a shock, as the Mystics have been plagued with injuries all year.
Bismarck State has played very few games with their entire original starting five on the floor together.
Bismarck State entered Mon-Dak play losing six in a row, but the guys really focused in practice and we can see the results.
“The big things in practice are defense, defense and rebounding,” Jared Walter said, “and staying in shape are the biggest things.”
On Jan. 11, the Bismarck State men look to improve to 2-0 in Mon-Dak at home against Dakota College at Bottineau.
