MHS Wrestler Signs With Navy

National Sports

The wrestler who holds Minot High’s record for individual wins is taking his talents to the Naval Academy.
Brody Armstrong today signed a letter of intent to wrestle for the Midshipmen.

Armstrong is a three-time state champion who wrestled for the Magicians for six years and was a state placer for five years.
He says he feels an obligation to military service, and was happy to get a chance to also continue his wrestling career.

(Brody Armstrong, MHS Wrestler) “I had several great offers from some Division Two schools, some local scools, but on receiving my appointment to the Naval Academy, they offered me a spot on the wrestling team and I jumped at the chance.”

Armstrong reports for basic training in the Navy in June.
