On April 27, the Minot Minotauros play their first game of the second round of the NAHL playoffs.
In the first round, Minot upset the number-one seed Aberdeen. The win moved them into a second round match up with Austin.
Before boarding the bus for the long trip to southern Minnesota…the team worked out this morning at the MAYSA.
Players say they are focused on turning their late-season surge — which includes a win over Aberdeen — into a long, post-season run.
“I think this is the latest anybody on our team has ever played in-season before so I think we’re excited to get going here,” Nolan Sawchuk said.
“I think our confidence is definitely high and after winning in the first round against the number one seed it definitely boosts our confidence,” Alex Adams said.
Games one and two are in Austin tomorrow and Saturday.
