New Town High School was the site of a two-day football camp led by five former NDSU football players.
Three Affiliated Tribes fitness and recreation hosted the camp to give high school athletes the chance to get some drills in before the summer months, as well as learn from former NDSU standouts like linebacker Esley Thorton.
“For us to come in and be able to give them some drills, some things they can take into the offseason, maybe give their coaches some pointers on drills they can do, it’s valuable things that we can provide,” Thorton said. “It’s been really rewarding for us.”
The additional former Bison alongside Thorton were Ryan Smith, Adam Shueller, Mike Hardy and Christian Dudzik.
