Panthers ready for state

National Sports

Just 2 years after the team made its first ever trip to the state class “B” girls basketball tournament, the Rugby Panthers are back in state as the region 6 champions. The Panthers, who were ranked 6th in the final state poll, will meet up with region 7 champion Killdeer who’s last appearance in the “B” was in 2005. The teams did not match up in the regular season and the Panthers are hoping to make the most of their state experience from 2 years ago.
