The Philadelphia Eagles defeated the New England Patriots 41-33 for the franchise’s first Lombardi Trophy.

Nick Foles, who filled in at quarterback after Carson Wentz suffered an ACL and LCL tear, earned MVP honors after passing for three touchdowns and catching a fourth.

After the final whistle, Wentz was seen embracing Foles in celebration.

According NFL.com’s Ian Rapaport, Wentz is expected to be ready to resume playing by Week 1 of next season.
