The PBR Bull riding challenge starts tomorrow evening, but the event will be without the legendary bull: Pearl Harbor.
Known by many as Pearl, the bull died six weeks ago. Pearl’s son, Sky Harbor, will take his father’s place. However, losing a bull like Pearl was tough on stock contractor Chad Berger.
“A real tough loss for our family and for the whole sport of bull riding,” Berger said. “I got more gifts from people all over the country, cards and letters for this bull. It was devastating.”
The two-day event starts tomorrow and will begin at 7:30 each night.
