Bismarck High girls soccer secured an automatic bid to the ND State Tournament with a 6-1 win over Jamestown, Century beat Legacy 3-1 and Mandan edged St. Mary’s 1-0 on Saturday afternoon.
Five different Bismarck High soccer athletes scored for the Demons. Elle Hill scored twice, including a long 26-yarder early in the first half.
Kate Weigum scored twice for Century in the 3-1 win over Legacy.
Mandan keeper Olivia Geiger saved a last second free kick to preserve the 1-0 win for Mandan. The win keeps the Braves in contention for a second place finish in the WDA, which would give them the other automatic bid to the state tournament.
