Eleven days away from the Eagles first game of the NFL season and Philadelphia quarterback Carson Wentz still has not been full cleared to play.
Right now, Carson can participate in 7-on-7 drills and 11-on-11 drills, but doctors have not cleared him for contact, according to NFL.com.
Being cleared for contact would be the last step before Carson is allowed to play in a game and this process has been frustrating at times, but he is trying to remain patient.
“I feel good,” Wentz said. “I think you guys so all camp me moving around and everything. I think it just kind of boiled down to a controlled environment. That’s what we wanted to maintain for a while there. So that’s what it was.”
Carson has not played in the preseason so far. The Eagles final game before the start of the regular season is Thursday, Aug. 30 against the New York Jets.
