A Williston man is being charged with manslaughter after he allegedly beat a man outside a Williston bar.

Justin Crites is expected in Williams County Court Friday to face the charges.

Court documents say Jay LePage was punched in the face outside of The Shop bar in Williston on May 4th.

Witnesses told investigators that Justin Crites punched LePage in the face, breaking his jaw, causing LePage to fall backward on the cement sidewalk, which led to a fracture on his head.

Jay LePage died three days later at a Minot hospital, from blunt force head trauma.

Manslaughter is a Class B felony, and Crites could face 10 years in jail if convicted.
