Skateboards to wedding rings. Check out this unique local business.

From a woodturning class to the garage, this local man turned a hobby into cash flow.

Aviary Ring Co. was created about 3 months ago when Brandon Loftis started experimenting with a lathe machine and some table legs in his garage… it eventually turned into a wooden wedding ring business.

And recently launched Aviary Odyssey… a line of rings made from upcycled skateboards.

“We don’t ask how many adventures has the ring has been on… We like to ask how many more does it have? So we like to breathe new life and give skateboards a second story,” said Brandon Loftis/Owner at Aviary Ring Co., as he shows one of the rings he made from the skateboards.

He said their rings are made in the heart of the midwest and encourage people to buy ethically.
