KX Storm Team Friday Night One Minute Forecast

One Minute Forecast

A weak cold front tonight may create fog in some locations, with clouds increasing otherwise. Temperatures will be slightly cooler tomorrow, except for our far southwest where highs could once again reach the 40s. A strong cold front will push through late Saturday night, pushing temperatures down substantially through the rest of the weekend. At the same time, a vigorous piece of energy from the jet stream will arrive Sunday morning. This system will have plenty of moisture to work with, and significant accumulations of snow across the entire viewing area are possible. A Winter Storm Watch has been issued for all of North Dakota in anticipation of Sunday’s storm. Temperatures will continue to tumble as we head into next week, and it looks possible to see an extended stretch of days below 0. In addition, there will be further chances for accumulating snow, most notably Tuesday through Thursday.
