KX Storm Team Monday Night One Minute Forecast

One Minute Forecast

Our weather pattern continues to give us mostly sunny skies and temperatures well above average, but tomorrow will begin a change across the area. Expect mild conditions again tomorrow with a few passing high clouds, but by early Wednesday morning a couple of fronts will increase precipitation chances. The first round looks to be primarily in the form of rain, but by Wednesday afternoon some snow and ice may mix in around the backside of the departing system. Winds will also pick up considerably through much of the day. Thursday will be a return to sunshine, but another system on Friday will give us an outside chance for snow, with colder air arriving to begin the weekend. There is a chance for accumulating snow Christmas Eve, but confidence at this point is low on how much and where it may fall. -Meteorologist Dave Holder
