KX Storm Team Monday Night One Minute Forecast

One Minute Forecast

Temperatures will drop into the 20s and 30s tonight, with winds decreasing and clouds increasing. Big changes in the pattern will commence tomorrow, as a significant system strengthens to our southwest. Rain will pick up in the far southwest of North Dakota, and winds will also begin to pick back up by tomorrow afternoon. As the system moves closer, winds will continue to remain breezy, and begin to bring in cooler air from the northeast. This will be a result of cooler air wrapping into the system as the low deepens. At this point, it appears as though the snowfall accumulations will remain to our south and east, but we’ll feel its effects in the form of increased clouds, breezy conditions, and cooler high temperatures through midweek. After the system departs east, a slow warmup will begin through next weekend, with the next chance for precipitation early next week. -Meteorologist Dave Holder
