KX Storm Team Thursday Night One Minute Forecast

One Minute Forecast

Look for patchy fog tonight for everywhere but the southwest quarter of the viewing are tonight. Temperatures will fall into the low 20s across the board. Tomorrow, expect temperatures slightly above average with increased cloud cover. A large and powerful system to our south will graze our state, increasing precipitation chances by Friday afternoon, with the best chances to the southwest. Precipitation may begin as freezing rain and sleet before the air above us begins to cool, and transitions over to all snow. Accumulations of snow could reach 3 or 4 inches in our southwestern counties by Saturday afternoon. Our weather pattern quickly quiets to end the weekend, and temperatures for most of next week look to remain slightly below average. -Meteorologist Dave Holder
