KX Storm Team Tuesday Night One Minute Forecast

One Minute Forecast

Temperatures will plummet to some of their lowest levels in years tonight as the main area of cold arctic high pressure rolls across the state. Temperatures will reach the -20s and -30s, and with a light breeze winds chills will be life-threatening. Winds will be relatively calm by daybreak tomorrow however, limiting the extreme wind chills that will be seen to our east. Temperatures will modify slightly tomorrow, but the eastern section of the viewing area will remain below 0 through the day. A significant warm up then commences by Thursday, with above average temperatures by the weekend. Chances for snow increase late Sunday into next week, with accumulating snow possible. -Meteorologist Dave Holder
