KX Storm Team Wednesday Night One Minute Forecast

One Minute Forecast

As the system that gave us ice and snow departs to the east, our weather pattern will turn quieter to finish the week. Expect temperatures at or slightly above average for late November, with mostly cloudy to partly cloudy skies. A big ripple in the jet stream and strong, broad low pressure at the surface develops this weekend. Although the main energy will be to our south, we could end up with precipitation moving in late Friday night, especially for southwest North Dakota. Again there will be the chance for ice, although significant accumulations are not expected at this time. The next chance for precipitation, this time in the form of snow, arrives early next week with colder temperatures. -Meteorologist Dave Holder
