KX Storm Team Wednesday Night One Minute Forecast

One Minute Forecast

A couple of system will impact our forecast over the coming days. The first, arriving tomorrow, will bring mostly rain across North Dakota, with a chance for a few snowflakes to mix in up towards the Canadian border. Winds will kick up behind the surface low tomorrow afternoon, with a Wind Advisory set to go into effect for extreme SW North Dakota. Colder air will also arrive behind this system, setting up the next system, arriving late Friday. With colder air in place and plenty of available moisture, chances for accumulating snow look likely into Saturday. The best chances for snow will be to the north and northwest. If snow changes over to rain more quickly on Saturday, accumulations will be less for the southern half of the viewing area. The weather pattern looks to remain quite cool and active into next week. -Meteorologist Dave Holder
