It will feel like Summer today as highs rise to the 70s and 80s.
Scattered rain will linger in the northern half of ND through much of the day but the severe potential begins this afternoon around 4 pm for central ND.
It will move through the Bismarck areas around 6 pm – 8 pm.
Threats will include ping-pong size hail and gusts to around 60 mph. The tornado threat is very low and mostly confined to east of Bismarck and around the James River Valley area.
Behind the line of storms, a dramatic cool down. Widespread rain chances are in store for the weekend with well below normal daytime highs.
