A Major Winter Storm Brings More Cold Than Snow For ND

Weather Blog

Patchy fog this morning will lift by mid-morning. Cloud linger throughout the day as highs warm to a cooler range. Expect widespread highs in the 40s. The westerly wind stays light and around 10-15 mph.

Tonight, colder lows with mostly cloudy skies and westerly wind 5-10 mph.

The Winter Storm looks to stay south but could bring a light snow accumulation to far southern ND.

If you’re doing any traveling to South Dakota or Minnesota, you may want a Plan B. A blizzard is likely for much of South Dakota with ice accumulation also possible.

Ice accumulation could be over a quarter of an inch and pretty significant. Especially in southern MN.

North Dakota’s temperatures will drop by Wednesday to the 30s and 40s and eventually rebound back to the 50s for the weekend.
