A Major Winter Storm To Impact Most Of North Dakota

Weather Blog

We’re already seeing the leading edge of the clouds ahead of the storm in North Dakota this morning. The leading edge of the precipitation is in South Dakota and will arrive around Noon to the ND border.

Snow will spread through the state overnight and bring a blizzard to much of central and eastern ND.

Moderate to heavy snow combined with wind gusts to around 55 mph will bring near whiteout conditions and extreme drifting. The intense snow will continue into Thursday morning.

Around a foot of snow could fall for parts of the east around Jamestown, Ashley, and Napoleon.
