A mostly clear sky this morning has made for a beautiful sunrise. A little cloud cover will move in from the west and north this afternoon. Highs are slightly cooler with a light northwesterly wind around 5-10 mph.
Tonight, lows will drop to the single digits, subzero with mostly cloudy skies and a 20% chance of very light snow.
Thursday, mostly cloudy with warmer highs in the teens. Wind stays light from the south around 5-10 mph.
Friday, mostly cloudy and warmer afternoon temperatures in the 20s and even around 30 in the west. A southerly wind will stay around 5-10 mph.
All eyes are on the potential weekend snowstorm. As of right now, the highest snow accumulation looks to be in the southern half of the state. Heavy snow is possible. Lighter amounts are possible in the north. It’s best to prepare for around 6″ if you live in the southern half of the state. This forecast will get fine-tuned as we get more reliable data.
