Amber’s Friday Morning Storm Team Update 5/25

A nice morning with lows in the 50s and 60s and light westerly wind. Full sun all day with highs heating up to the 80s and to around 90 degrees. Wind will increase to around 15-20, gusting to 25-30 mph this afternoon but ease us this evening. Tonight, clear with comfortable lows in the 50s and 60s. Saturday, an equally as sweltering day with highs back in the 80s to lower 90s. 

A cold front will move through very early Sunday morning and bring a chance for rain and strong to severe storms. A marginal risk for severe weather has already been issued for the western part of the state. Sunday, partly sunny with scattered rain and storms. The better chances will be in the morning and in the evening. Highs on Sunday will cool slighty to the 80s. On Memorial Day, a 40% chance for rain and storms with highs returning to the 70s and 80s.
