Increasing clouds and a scattered wintry mix this morning. Morning lows are mostly in the 30s and will rise to the 40s later today. Only a trace to around a few tenths of an inch of rain accumulation is projected.
Wind will also increase today as a Wind Advisory will go into play at Noon for Bowman county. Sustained wind could get as high as 35 mph, gusting to 45 mph.
A slight break in the widespread precipitation chances on Friday with mostly cloudy skies and colder highs in the 30s and 40s. Another system will move through Friday night through Saturday and bring a chance for a widespread 1″-3″ of snow accumulation with a few areas reach the 3″-5″ range.
We’ll continue with the cold weather pattern into the next work week. Highs looks to stay mostly in the 30s with models hinting at 20s for daytime highs by the end of next week.
