A few lingering snow showers in central North Dakota throughout the day will bring very light accumulation.
The attention then turns to the wind as it increases from the North around 20-30 mph, gusting to as high as 50 mph. The highest wind gusts will be in the east where a Blizzard Warning has been issued. Visibility due to freshly fallen snow could get as low as a few hundred feet.
Highs today stay cold and in the mid teens. Tonight, decreasing clouds with single digits both above and below zero. Wind chills could get as low as -15 and -25 tomorrow morning.
Frigid highs on Friday as we only rise into the single digits and teens. Partly sunny skies with decreasing wind into the morning.
A spike in temperatures this weekend as we warm to the 20s on Saturday and 30s by Sunday.
