Amber’s Thursday Morning Storm Team Forecast 9/5

A much warmer start this morning as lows have bottomed out in the 50s. Increasing southeasterly wind this afternoon with sustained wind of 10-20 mph, gusting to 25 mph. A partly sunny day with the best chance for sun in the South as highs heat back to the 70s and 80s. 

A few showers and storms could pop up as early as late morning but the better chance for severe weather will come by early evening. Parts of the North are under a Marginal risk for severe weather with large hail as the main hazard. 

Tonight, decreasing chances for rain with lows back in the 40s and 50s. Another partly sunny day is in store for Friday as highs will heat to the 70s and 80s. Chances for rain are back in the forecast for Saturday.
