Temperatures have been interesting across the state this morning as cloud cover has played a huge role. Where the clouds thinned out, we’ve dropped to single digits to even subzero. In the West we have stayed in the mid to upper 20s. Here were the 5:30 am temps.
Light and variable wind will shift and become westerly and southwesterly. A warm front will bring much warmer daytime highs back to above freezing for many with afternoon temperatures reaching into the 30s and even the 40s in the Southwest.
Mostly sunny and warmer for Wednesday with highs peaking in the 40s and even the 50s in the South. A quick moving low pressure system will bring a chance for a wintry mix in the North very early Thursday morning with highs in the 30s and 40s.
A chance for light snow on Friday may bring a light accumulation. Highs return to the 20s and 30s.
