Amber’s Tuesday Morning Storm Team Forecast 9/11

Weather Blog

A very warm start this morning with many 60s for lows. Decreasing clouds as a cold front sweeps through from west to east. Highs will return to the 70s and 80s under mostly sunny skies.

Wind will increase slightly behind the cold front to around NW 10-20, gusting to 20-25 mph.

Wednesday, mostly cloudy with chances for rain. As of now, the best chance will be in the afternoon in the North. Highs tomorrow will be cooler and in the 60s and 70s.

Here’s a Hurricane Florence update. After undergoing an eyewall replacement, it has weakened slightly. It’s still a Cat 4 with wind of 130 mph and expected to intensify and flirt with Cat 5 status.
