A seasonably warm early September day with lows in the 50s and 60s. A few areas in the Northwest have dipped to the upper 40s. Exiting rain and storms in the Southeast with the passing of a cold front.
Much cooler this afternoon behind the cold front as highs only warm to the 60s and low 70s.
Wind will also increase from the north and northwest to around 10-20 mph, gusting to 20-25 mph. Tonight, patchy frost is possible as lows dip to the 30s and 40s.
Another cool day is in store for Wednesday as highs return to the 60s and 70s under mostly sunny skies. We’ll warm back to the 70s and 80s by the end of the work week.
