Mostly rain this morning with a cold front dropping in from the northwest. That cold front will change the rain in the North around Minot and Williston into a light snow. Light accumulation of around an inch or two is possible. Here’s a look at the 7:30 am radar as rain is already changing over to a mix in the northwest.
A Wind Advisory has been issued for the South beginning at 1 pm and lasting through 7 pm this evening. Strong wind from the northwest around 30 mph, gusting to 45 mph. Highs today will range from the 30s in the North to the 40s and 50s in the South.
Decreasing clouds will bring a drop in low temperatures tonight to the 20s. Mostly sunny on Thursday with highs returning to the 40s. Increasing afternoon rain chances in the South will push north and bring snow chances overnight
We keep the cold forecast for the long term with another round of rain and snow in the forecast for Sunday an Monday.
