Decreasing clouds this morning will make way for a mostly sunny day. Highs will return to the 80s with a westerly wind around 10-20 mph. Tonight, mostly clear with lows in the 50s and 60s. Instability increases throughout the day on Thursday as temperatures heat to the mid to upper 80s. Chances for storms could begin as early as late morning but the risk for severe weather looks to be high by late afternoon and early evening. The storms could be long-lived well into the night. Large hail, damaging wind and even tornadoes are all hazards.
Friday, cooler highs mostly in the 70s with chances for scattered and isolated showers and storms. We continue the active forecast into the weekend with daily chances for rain and storms and highs back in the 70s. Next week, a return to the 80s.
