Increasing clouds this morning with increasing chances for rain and storms in the Southern half of the state. Warm morning lows in the 60s mostly will heat to the 70s and 80s later on. Cooler highs in the South where the thicker cloud cover sticks around. Much hotter in the North with highs back in the lower to mid 80s. Wind stays light and variable all day. Scattered storms in the South could bring heavy downpours with accumulation of over a half inch.
Tonight, isolated rain and storms as lows dip to the 50s and 60s. Scattered rain and storms through Thursday afternoon as highs return to the 70s and 80s. Wind will shift and become westerly. Friday and Saturday, a break from the rain as highs return to the 80s. Storm chances are back in the forecast for Sunday.
