KX Storm Team Tuesday Evening Forecast

Weather Blog

This morning’s cold front will be the first in a series of systems that arrives from the north in this very cold weather pattern. As the jet stream becomes more amplified, our air will arrive from the Canadian north. Tomorrow will be dry with winds subsiding, but the next system arrives on Thursday with a chance for light accumulating snow. High pressure then builds in temporarily Friday. This means a dry end to the week, but also a very cold end to the week. The next system moves in on Saturday, with further chances for accumulating snow across North Dakota. Snow chances will linger into Sunday, with dry (and very cold) weather expected into next week. A change in the weather pattern looks possible by the middle of next week. -Meteorologist Dave Holder
