KX Storm Team Tuesday Evening Forecast

Weather Blog

The much advertised storm system will arrive late tonight, from south to north. Precipitation may begin as rain, but will quickly transition to snow into the early morning hours. The track of the system will take it east, meaning heaviest snowfall accumulations will be to the south and east of the Bis-Man area. The western and northern parts of the viewing area may not see any precipitation at all. After the system leaves North Dakota tomorrow afternoon, we’ll be left with clouds and cool temperatures. High pressure builds in for Thursday, finally clearing our skies enough that a little sunshine will be possible. Warmer temperatures are expected to close out the week, but colder air and precipitation chances return for the weekend. -Meteorologist Dave Holder
