We are tracking several storm systems as the active weather pattern continues. The first system will arrive overnight with rain for the southern part of North Dakota. As colder air filters in around the backside of the system, rain will change to snow for the counties along the Canadian border. These areas could see an inch of snow before the system exits to the east. Skies will clear tomorrow evening into Thursday. Thursday morning will be quite cold, with another system arriving late Thursday into Friday. There is a chance for accumulating snow across the entire state by the end of the week. A third storm will enter late this weekend. Although there is low confidence at this point about exact temperatures, and therefore where we’ll see rain or snow, there is likely to be a lot of precipitation regardless. -Meteorologist Dave Holder
