Rain will continue to overspread the state tonight, with some of it heavy at times. Many of us will wake up tomorrow to rain, but eventually, it will begin to wind down from west to east tomorrow morning. Skies will clear, and sunshine will warm the surface quickly. A little instability may develop, and this will help to regenerate more showers and possible thunderstorms. The best chances for thunderstorms will be out to the west, where clearing skies will occur the earliest in the day. Beginning Thursday, temperatures will warm considerably, and Friday will see highs in the 70s for many locales. A front on Saturday will bring a chance for showers and cooler temperatures, particularly north. Easter Sunday looks to be mostly sunny, with near average temperatures. In addition, expect breezy conditions through the holiday weekend.
