KX Storm Team Wednesday Evening Forecast

Weather Blog

Temperatures will fall tonight under mostly clear skies. We will not see advisory level wind chills, however, and tomorrow highs will rebound into the teens and perhaps a few 20s. The brief warm up ends Friday, as a strong cold front arrives from the north. Temperatures will fall quickly Friday into the weekend, with winds increasing along the front. The best chance for accumulating snow will be along the South Dakota border early Friday morning, although significant accumulations are not expected. Wind chills will become dangerous, particularly Sunday morning. Next week will feature slightly warmer weather, although the stretch of below average temperatures will continue. -Meteorologist Dave Holder
