Precipitation will steadily wind down tonight and skies will begin to clear, with temperatures dropping below freezing across the state. Abundant sunshine and southerly winds will help the temperature to rebound tomorrow, and highs will be much closer to seasonal averages. An incoming front will push a few showers across North Dakota tomorrow evening, but we’ll again look for a dry and mild day Friday. A second and stronger front arrives Friday night. This will be the focus for more showers and possible thunderstorms Friday evening, with cooler temperatures this weekend. Chances for rain and possible snow continue to linger in the forecast for next week, as the active and cool weather pattern remains.
