Weather Blog

Well here we are…down to the final hours of 2018…and what a great weather year it was.

But it’s not going to end so nicely.

A clipper system is going to make New Years Eve and New Years Day downright dangerous to be out in.

In fact, The National Weather Service has put a good chunk of the area under a Wind Chill Advisory until Noon on New Years Day…

The advisory is needed because once the clipper passes by, the North Pole will be deposited on North Dakota with Wind Chills Monday and Tuesday approaching -40F….

Needless to say, If you don’t have to go out tomorrow or Tuesday…DON’T…the risk for frostbite is too great at these temperate…and we can’t have your New Years celebration canceled because you lost a few fingers to frostbite!

Here to all the best in 2019…stay warm
