The KX Storm Team has put us under the “Aware” stage for now through tomorrow morning.  While the computer models have not really agreed on snow totals it appears there will be a large swath of 3-5 inches of snow from tonight until the snow ends tomorrow.  Within this band of 3-5 inches there will likely be some convective snow showers which could bump the snow totals up in a few areas.  In addition, gusty winds tomorrow will create some travel concerns with blowing snow a real possibility.  South of I-94 the snow is expected to be much lighter.  Meteorologist Heidi Wurosta will be updating the forecast throughout the afternoon.  Be sure to join her for KX News at 6 & 10.–Tom Schrader Chief Meteorologist KX Storm Team
