There is a wide variety of temperatures across the state right now, as of 5 pm, with 40s in the Southwest and 70s in North Central with mostly cloudy skies and even some rain showers in the southern half of the state. Mother’s Day will have much better conditions. With mainly sunny skies and temperatures in the 70s for most. In fact, the beautiful weather will continue through much of the first half of the week with temperatures climbing into the 80s and sunny skies. The weather will make a change once we get into Thursday– back into the 70s and a chance of thunderstorms for most of the state. At this time there is about 40% chance. During the storms it can be breezy at times. Strong winds can also be present during the storms. We will continue to have more updates as Thursday approaches. Next weekend will likely remain in the 60s.
