It’s certainly been an eventful morning for central and eastern North Dakota as blizzard conditions have overtaken much of the state. As of 8:00 AM, the Blizzard Warning is now for all of eastern ND and the Winter Weather Advisory will more than likely change over to a Wind Advisory has the storm moves east.
I-94 is closed from Bismarck to Fargo and I-29 is closed from Fargo to the Canadian border. All of eastern ND and south-central ND are under a No Travel Advised due to blowing and drifting snow. Wind gusts for much of central ND will stay around 40-50 mph today with sustained wind northerly at 20-30 mph.
Here’s a look at the forecast winds for 12 pm today.
