Sunday Weather Blog–Tom Schrader KX Storm Team

Weather Blog

There is a Winter Weather Advisory for light snow that will add up to several inches over time.  There isn’t much threat to this turning into a “storm” with strong wind and blowing snow but there is the possibility of some “banding” of snow to set up within the area that could produce a few areas of around 6 inches by the time it ends tomorrow. Most of us however will likely be in the 3-5 inch range. One thing does seem possible and it’s a good thing. It appears it is a few degrees colder than we thought yesterday and that would tend to really cut down on freezing rain amounts.  There could be some, but this should be mainly snow. –Tom Schrader KX Storm Team
