Sunday’s Weather 11/26

Weather Blog

As of Sunday evening, there is a big temperature difference across the state of nearly 30 degrees. There are upper 20s and lower 30s in the northeast and in the southwest 60s! Luckily, there is little to no wind for much of the state, otherwise, it would feel colder out. Howevere, that won’t last for long. Winds will be picking back up on Monday and through much of next week. Expect gusts nearing 40 mph in local areas. In addition to the winds, the temperatures will also be on the warm side for just Monday, staying well above average. On Tuesday though, a cold front passes enabling temperatures to only be in the mid 40s for most. This will still be above average. As the week progresses, the temperatures will be on a gradual cool down and decreasing by a few degrees each day. By the end of the week lows will be around 40 degrees and lows in the 20s. An average high temperature for this time of year is in the mid 30s and lows in the teens. Closer towards the second week of December, models are suggesting cooler than average temperatures.

Sunday night, a partly to mostly cloudy sky, with more clouds north. Winds southeast and light with lows mainly in the 30s.

Monday, cooler in the north with highs in the 40s. 50s and 60s are expected elsewhere. Skies, mostly cloudy, and winds south then shifting west at 15-25 mph and gusts of 30 mph.

Monday night, a northwest/west wind at 15-25 mph and mostly cloudy skies. Lows in the mid to upper 20s and 30s.

Tuesday, highs mainly in the 40s and sunny skies. Winds breezy at times and from the west at 5-15 mph.

Tuesday night, a partly cloudy sky and lows in the upper 20s. Winds south at 5-10 mph.
