Thursday morning Forecast 10/26

Weather Blog

Rain with mostly snow this morning has made for a tricky commute for some. Reduced visibility as the strong wind whips the light snow around. A Wind Advisory is in effect for Central and Western ND until 8 pm with sustained northerly wind of 30 gusting to 55 mph. A High Wind Warning is in effect for Eastern ND through 8 pm also with sustained northerly wind of 40 gusting to 60 mph. Very little snow accumulation with 1″-2″ possible in the Turtle Mountains. Temperatures will continue to fall throughout the day with widespread 30s.

Tonight, some of the coldest air of the season as lows will dip to the teens and 20s under a clear sky. Highs on Friday are back in the 30s and 40s. We’ll stay mostly dry through the weekend with a return to 40s and 50s. Next week, expect a few chances for light snow with continued below average temperatures.
