Scattered showers and storms will briefly end before picking back up during the afternoon heating. A storm or two may become strong to severe. Quarter size hail and wind gusts to 60 mph are possible. Highs will return mostly to the 80s today with NW wind around 10-15 mph. Tonight, decreasing chances for rain and storms with lows returning to the 50s and 60s.
Decreasing clouds into Friday as highs return to the 70s and 80s with sunshine. A repeat forecast is in store for Saturday. A cold front will sweep through the state on Sunday and bring chances for strong to severe weather. Cooler highs in the 70s begin the next work week.
